Biogem (Biologia e genetica molecolare) is a consortium company that carries out non-profit research activities and is 100% owned by public institutions. It has a complex in Ariano Irpino with a surface area of 33,000 m2, of which 8,200 m2 are covered, and a residence for researchers and students of 810 m2. The research activities carried out by approximately 100 researchers are divided among the laboratories of Developmental Biology, Bioinformatics, Genes and Environment, Translational Nephrology, Molecular Oncology, and Precision Medicine, Science and Society. Biogem Service is the area of Biogem that offers highly specialized research and development services integrated with pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies, and academic institutions. Biogem Service works according to the high-quality standards dictated by UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 regulations. The Ministry of Health has certified Biogem’s compliance with Good Laboratory Practice. This important achievement allows Biogem to establish new fruitful collaborations with national and international pharmaceutical industries. IMMUNOMICA will be physically hosted at BIOGEM, which will make available to the Company in loan for use a sequencer, automation and library preparation stations. BIOGEM will also be one of the main clients of IMMUNOMICA.
